The Okoroire golf tournament was ' continued yesterday and to-day, when the following competitions were completed: Mr Downes' prize was tied for by Messre T. Ball end D. Downes, with a net score of 90. Other scores were: F. Seifert, 94; W W. Bruce, 95; P. Kingswell, 96; R. Carruth. 07; Thornton Jackson, 102. The principal event, the Okoroire challenge cup (36 holes), was won by Mr D. McCormiek, with a net score of. 176. Other scores were: R. Carruth. 181; Pat. Hanna, 183; Thornton Jackson. 185. Other competitions resulted as follows:— One Club Competition, nine- holes (gentlemen). —R. Carruth. net score, 42; D McCormick, 46. W. Bruce, S. S. Allen, and A. W. Cooper tied for third place, with a net score of 47. One. Club Competition (ladles), nine holes —Miss K. C. Clark, net score, 48; Mrs IS. Seifert, 51; Miss Bailie, 53; Mrs F. Seifert. 63; Miss Jay, 65. The putting competition was -won by T Martin.
