A singular accident occurred at the -top comer of rDurhajn-street West about noon to-day., The City Council motor wagon, ivhicL was engaged carrying tarred metal to repair Durhani-'Street, backed into the wall of the building on the top corner, which is occupied by Mr. G. Hoi-ley's Exchange. The wagon ran back, and the projecting. car struck the building such a. severe blow that it punched a large hole right : through the; ■brick wall.. Fortunately;, the point of contact was underneath an old archway, bo that this served to hold tip the wall.
