LONDON, April 13. The death occurred to-day of Sir John Currie, the shipowner. •' * Sir Donald Currie, head of the firm of DGnald Currie and Son 3, shipowners, wa3 born in 1525. and was created a baronet in 1881. He was M.P. for Perthshire from 1880 to 1885, and for West Perthshire from 1885 to 1890. He was married in 1851 and had two daughters.
