CHURCHES OF CHRIST ANNUAL CONFERENCE.

The annual conference of the Churches of Christ in the provincial district of Auckland, co-operating for evangelistic purposes, commenced on Thursday in the chapel at the corner of Pollen-street and ponsonby-road. The president for the general conference was Bro. A. M. Bryden. while Air. C. B. Oibson was secretary, and Mr. \V. Hibburt recording secretary. The visiting delegates were duly welcomed, after which the president delivered an address. Then followed consideration of the reports. The conference was continued in the evening. On Friday the conference continued it= business sittings in Queen's Hall, raget-sireet. the members adjourn ing to the chapel for luncheon. In the evening the conference tea meeting in the chapel was largely attended. It was followed by a public social meeting at 7.30 o'clock in the evening, at which Air. F. Davies presided. The report of the Executive Committee mentioned the good work done in the north by Bro. .1. T. Mudford, and of Bro. Harris 'a Albertland.
