The Departmental Board of Inquiry into the Braybrook railway disaster, which occurred on April 20 of last year, and was attended with heavy loss of life, found Engine-driver Milburn guilty on each of five charges preferred against him, and Driver Dolman, Firemen Tomlinson and Debeii}', and Guard Darcy not guilty. Stationmaster Kendall was found guilty with a recommendation to mercy. Milburn and Kendall were dismissed from the service, with the right of appeal. The others are to be reinstated.
