(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, this day. Borough Council telephonic communication was cut off this morning, owing to the non-payment of due fees. The Town Clerk states that a cheque was already drawn, but, as the Council did not meet till last evening, authority for payment could not previously be obtained. The Clerk has wired to the General Postmaster stating the facts, and asking for an explanation.
