YOUNG OFFICER'S LOSSES.
(Received 8.10 a.m.) LONDON, April 7. Cases are now proceeding in the Court of Appeal for the recovery of large sums upon bills of exchange.
Incidentally it is alleged in connection with the cases that a young officer named \ incent Eyre lost £So.ooo'sterling as a result of transactions in which Sir Horatio Bottomley, M.P., and Ernest Tenth Hooley. the once-famous financier, had taken part.
