RECOGNISING THE ANNEXATION.
THE ROUMEXIAN TRIBUTE. PARIS, April 5. It is semi-officially announced in Paris that Britain and France are replying favourably to Austria's request for recognition of the annexations of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
CONSTANTINOPLE, April 5.
The Council of Administration in connection with the Ottoman debt has protested against the Russo-Turkish protocol, on the ground that the terms for the commutation of the Eastern Roumelian tribute will inflict an annual loss of £40,000 on Turkey.
