ONEHUNGA POLICE COURT.
(Before Mr. H. W. Northcroft, S.M.) John Hicks admitted having attempted to board a tram car while it was in motion, and was fined 3s and 17s costs. William Barns, who did not appear, was fined 5s and costs (17s) for a similar offence.
Civil Cases. —Albert J. Pople v. T. Harkness, claim £48 0s sd. Judgment went for plaintiff by default, with £3 111 costs.
