A remarkable case was before the Bendigo City Court recently. Elizabeth Margaret Grady, who proceeded against her husband, James Grady, for leaving her without means of support, admitted, that in 1876 sihe married a man, James Hill, and also married a Chinese, Ah Soon, before she me* Grady. Solicitor for the defendant informed the Bench that 'both men were living. Defendant also admitted that ihe was married to another woman. He married her on April sth last year. Complainant told him often that he was not her lawful husband, as she was married to another man. The case was struck out
