At a meeting of tbe Katikatl Farmers' Union, the following resolution was passed: "That, In the opinion of the Katikatl branch of the Farmers' Union, the regulations proposed under the Dairy Act are to some extent suitable for dairies In town districts, but harassing* vexations, and unnecessary for application to country settlers, and that a copy of tills resolution be forwarded to the Minister for Lands." At a meeting of the Katikatl Road Board ta %oMolTrtl<m was passed congratulating the Government on the prompt action In offering a Dreadnought, proving the solidarity of the -Empire. It was also resolTed to entertain tbe Minister for Roads when he visits the district
