In connection with the dismissal of an enginedfiver at Humtly, who was in the employ of the Taupiri Coal Company, Mr. J. G. Ralph, one of the directors, when interviewed by a "Star" representative this morning, said the directors were to confer with representatives of the men on Monday, when ho hoped a satisfactory settlement would bo arrived at.
