(Received 11.15 a.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. The Governments of Victoria and Fiji have agreed to accept thu tender of H. J. Sleigh, a Melbourne shipowner, for a direct fortnightly steamship service between Melbourne and Fiji, commencing June 1. The subsidy is £6000 per annum. Victoria paying £1700 and Fiji £4300.
