A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
WOODVTLLE, Sunday. A serious accident befell Mr. William Logan, settler and member of the Woodville County Council, some time on Friday. Mr. Logan was riding his horse over the back portion of his farm, which is rough country, when the animal fell over the cliff with its rider, anrl broke its neck. Mr. Logan was rendered insensible by the fall, and lay out all night. The unfortunate man was discovered by some neighbours at 10 o'clock yesterday morning, aud an examination showed that his left leg was broken above the knee, while his body was much bruised and his face cut. Mr. Logan was immediately conveyed to the Pahiatua Hospital.
