GOVERNOR'S EAST COAST TRIP.

Owing to a heavy north-east gale, the Governor could not land at Opotiki to-day in accordance with his programme, the s_3. Tutanekai sheltering under Whale Island until morning. It is proposed to tranship the Governor and party to the Ngatiawa, and land at Ohiwa to-morrow proceeding thence to OpotikL The rest of the programme is postponed one day. Nothing is known concerning the Kuatoki programme.
