MR CHARLES HUDSON. MELBOURNE, March 24. The death occurred to-day of Mr Charles Hudson, one of the Victorian Railway Commissioners, in his 56th year. The late» Mr Hudson was for 21 years in the New Zealand railway service. He was at one time statio'nmaster at Auckland ,and later rose to the position of assistant-general manager. From New Zealand he proceeded to Tasmania, where, as general manager of the Government railways, he reorganised the service. About six years ago he received his late appointment, the stores and accountancy branches of the Victorian railway system having been under his supervision:
