WELCOME AT TUPAROA. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GISBORNE, this,day. The picturesque township of Tuparoa, thirty miles south-east of East Cape, presented a festive scene this, morning on the occasion of the Governor's visit, Maori and pakeha combining in a display of patriotism. A great cheer arose as the Tutanekai steamed into the bay shortly after nine o'clock. His Excellency, on landing, Was presented with an address of welcome by Mr K. S.
