Two Wycliffe preachers visited St. Paul's Church, Leicester, one day at the begin""™ ■_&?* y^.T * 0»S that a young lady was making. The curate asked them to leave, but fbey refused and an argument ensued as to the legality of the open confessional in the Church of England. Eventually the purate left the church, returning accompanied by the vicar, the Rev. Canon Mason. The curate and lady proceeded to the chancei for'the confession, and the preachers would have followed but the vicar barred the way. Further argument ensued, but the confession was completed and the matter end-1 ii*. ' '
