ROAD DRAG OF RAILROAD RAILS.
Two pieces of railroad iron sft long are required to make the road drag shown in the accompanying illustration. Drill holes in each end of these irons and bolt them with iron rods 2Jft apart on one end, and 2ft on the other.
DRAG FROM RAILROAD RAILS. Hitch a horse to each end of this drag, and drive the narrow end toward the ditch every time. This brings the dirt to the centre of the road. By spikinga plank through the centre one can ride on the drag. Drag the roads after rain as soon as the mud stiffens.
