■ TAIRUA MONARCH CONSOLIDATED A combined meeting of shareholders in the Tairua Triumph, Monarch and Conqueror Gold Mining companies was held yesterday afternoon in the office of Mr. J. Stevenson, when it was resolved to amalgamate the three into one company, to be called the Tairua -Monarch Consolidated, with a nominal capital of £26.250, dirided into 210,000 shares at 2/6 each. It i= proposed that shareholders in the Triumph shall receive 70,000 shares, in the Conqueror and Monarch t>o.ooo sha-res each, all paid up to ona shilling. The new company will thus acquire the three areas of property at Tairua, and start with a capital in hand of about . £1,000.
