The Government has decided to issue special licenses for Maoris to take trout in the thermal regions. Not more than 20 licenses are to be issued in any one season. At a fee of one shilling each I license authorises the holder to fish for trout for consumption by himself and family only, but for no other purpose. The license is not to confer any right of entry upon the land of any person without his consent.
