MEASLES AND SCARLET FEVER.
OUTBREAK ON THE CORINTHIC. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. An outbreak of measles and scarlet fever has occurred among the passengers by the Corinthic from Ixrndon, now on the last stage of the voyage from Hobart to Wellington. Special preparations are being marie by the Public Health Department to deal with the cases, which are understood to considerably outnumber any previous outbreak during recent years. They are, however, of a mild nature.
