(Received 8.18 a.m.) NEW YORK, March 16. ■Mr H. D. Mcintosh, promoter of the Burns-Johnson fight, conferred to-day with James J. Jeffries, the undefeated exchampion, who promised to seriously consider a proposal to meet Jack Johnson, the coloured champion, for the championship of the world.
