NAVY COMMITTEE'S PROPOSAL.
LONDON, March 16. The Navy Committee of the House of Commons, including Liberal Imperialists and Conservatists, has resolved that the construction of seven Dreadnoughts is necessary during the coming year, that another be added if found necessary, and that the postponement of the building of four, as suggested, would place an- undue strain on the 1910-11 programme.
The Reduction of Armaments Committee has resolved that any increase in the Navy Estimates is inexpedient.
