BOROUGH NOTICES. THOROUGH OP GREY LYNN. SPECIAL ORDER, (MAKING SPEOIAL ft RATE. I hereby give notice that, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in It in that behalf by "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, IBOS," and its Amendments, the Grey Lynn Borough Council, at a Special Meeting convened for that purpose, and held within the Council Chambers on Monday, Bth day of March, 1909, resolved 'a 3 follows: — "That for the purpose of providing Interest, Sinking. tamd, and other charges on. a Loan of £12,500, authorised to be raised by the Grey Lynn Borough Council, under the. provisions of the 'Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908,' -and its Amendments, for thecarrying out of Grad- -. ing, Levelling, Formation, Metalling, Kerblng, and Channelling of the Streets and Roads within the limits of or bounding 'the said Borough of Grey Lynn, also' the Purchase of Stone Crusher and Engine, the said Borough of Grey Lynn Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of Seven-sixteenths of One Penny in the Pound on the Unimproved Value of all ratable property In the Borough of Grey Lynn; and that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such Loan, I and be payable half-yearly on the First day of April and October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 33 years, or until the loan is .fully paid off." 1 Notice Is also hereby given that a Special j Meeting of the Council will be held in the Council Chamber on MONDAY, the 12th day of April. 1909, at 7.30 p.m., for the purpose of Confirming the said Resolution. 1 R. Deviation Contract, £750; (f) Street Lighting, Lamps, and Fittings, £250; (g) Improvements to the Proposed Reserve, £500; (h) Refund to Loans Account (£15,000), £1000; and (I) Out of the remaining £1500 It is proposed to pay the cost of raising Loan, cost of a local Act of Parliament constituting the proposed reserve,.- first half-year's interest, and preliminary and incidental expenses. The said Borough of Grey Lynn Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of ONE PENNY AND ONE-EIGHTH OF A PENNY in the Pound ou the Unimproved Value of all ratable property in the Borough of Grey Lynn; and that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan, aud be payable half-yearly 011 the First Day of April and October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-three years, or until the loau is fully paid off." Notice is also hereby given that a Special Meeting of the Council will be held in the Council Chamber on MONDAY, the 12th day of April, 1909, at 7.45 p.m., for the purpose of Conflnniug the said Resolution.
