WILDING BEAKS ALEXANDER. MELBOURNE, November 23. At the tennis tournament to-day Wilding won the singles championship of Victoria, beating Alexander (America),, 4—6, 6—o, 6—2, 6—2. After the first set the American" was never in it. One of the features was, for goou piayers, mo j inaccurate service of both. TSaere were j no fewer than nine double faults in the four sets. Alexander's head work at times was faulty. Wilding won seven games in succession.
