Afc the next meeting of the Harbour Board the following resolutions will be i moved by Mr Napier: (1) That in view of the pressing- necessity for move steamer berthage acco"imodatioTi than exists at present, the Board in committee do consider and report whether it is noe desirable to extend in lensrth the Queyatreet jetty No. 2 and the Quay-etreet Jetty No. 3 400 feet, or such distance aa may be determined, in hard"svood; (2) that the engineer report as to \vha.t number of punta would be required to carry to reclaimable areas within the harbour the silt dredged by Dredger No 121 if tile latter were wholly occupied in dredging instead of carrying- 3ilt to sea;; (:i I that all lands .al the. Board, let fop temporary occupation vrhich have been' held b ytenants for more than, twelve months, be re-valued and fresh, rentale fixed ,and that the rentals of all such hinds be reconsidered by the Board annually at the first meeting xa. the (month of December.
