Public Notice is hereby given that at h Special Meeting held on the IStlr June, 1003 the Auckland City Council made tile following Special Order, viz,:— "That the Auckland City Council doth hereby by Special Resolution intended to operate as a Special Order resolve to borrow an additional sum of not exceeding £9000 sterling (nine thousand pounds) for the erection of additional buildings, additions to railway siding and other additional works necessary for the completion of the Abattoir now being erected at the corner of the Main 'South and Portage roads, near Otahuhu, under provisions of 'The Slaughtering and Inspection Act. 3000,' and the Amendments thereof, being unable to provide the necessary funds for such work out of the ordinary revenue of the City of Auckland." "That the rate of interest upon such loan shall not exceed 4J per cent per annum." "That the loan be repayable in 21 years." "That provision be made for the payment into a Sinking Fund of j per cent per annum."
