PALMERSTON BUTTER AWARDS

The following are the results of judging conducted by the dairying staff of the Wellington factory in the butter classes for the winter show:— Best Box of Export Butter — > ' a Dairy Company (941), Bunnythorpe ' .I-), Hawke's Bay" (Daimevirke) : C93A), Taihape (933), Okitu (93), bracketed equal firsts. Each scored the standard points (93 or over), and consequently divide the money Jallptmeni, t£sd. The Cheltenham factory takes the :Weddell Cup, valued at 25 guineas, and maker J. Murray received the Association's gold medal. The prize in the Novice Class fell to Kairanaa (Palmerston), dairy cow ' (94*); Oakura (94), 2; Taihape (931), 3. Factory Butter from Bulk: —Cheltenham Dairy Cow (94), 1; Ballance (93), 2; Rankitikei (92i). 3. The Cheltenham Company also receives" in this class the Shaw-Savill and Albion Company's Cup, valued at 25 ginueas, and maker J. Murray, the Association's gold medal. The championship butter class details and esport cheese results are not yet avaDable.
