BESFONSiBnrar to natives. h ' LONDON, June 22. At the; sittings of the Pan-Anglican Congress to-day, Bishops. Williams, of Waiapu, and Cooper, of Graf ton (New South Wales), : and Canon Groser, spoke upon the Church's responsibility, towards aborigines. Bishop Kennion (formerly of Adelaide) remarked that rone reason why the .conversion of the natives in North Australia had not been more successful, was because the language was in a constant stateof flux; and; converts were onlyable to instruct their own tribes.
