I A German trader named Schmidt was lying in the hospital at Herhertsfaoe when the Prinz Sigismund left the islands, suffering from a severe spear wound in the back. He had gone out with the Government -party to punish the natives at the Admiralty Group, and received the spear wound during the attack with the hostile tribe.
