RELIGION IN SCHOOLS.
FEELING IN THE DOMINION. LONDON, June 18. In connection with the Pan-Anglican Congress, a great meeting was held last night in Albert Hall, at which Archbishop Clarke, of Melbourne, dealt with ' the question of Church finance. The Bishop of New Guinea (Dr. Stone- : Wigg) addressed the industrial missions ' section. , Bishop Riley, of Perth, addressed the section relating to the Church's missions I throughout Christendom, and declared that none more than the rough Australian appreciated the influence of a real j lady imparting religion. , Rev. A. C. Hoggins, of New Zealand, I addressing the education section, re- j ferred to the gradual change of feeling in New Zealand in favour of religion i given by trained teachers as "part of the • daily education. The Bishop of North Queensland (Dr. Frodsham) declared that a race of white pagans was growing up in some parts of I Queensland.--- • • • - ■-.
