Horses.—We had a full yarding at the Haymarket on Friday last, and a good attendance of buyers. lleavy draughts sold at troui £31 10/ to £3G: active wagou and express sorts, £25 10/ to £35 10/; mares aud geldings up to a ton, £14 10/ to £21 £>,'; bakers' and butchers' cart class, £15 15/ to £2u 10/; hacks aud buggy horses, £10 10/ to £23; gig ponies and ordinary riding sorts, £3 15/ to £S 5/; drays, £11 5/ to £11 10/; light trap, £8. A fair yarding of stock at Pokeno on Monday was disposed of at full values. Backward cows and heifers, £2 15/ to £4; small, fat, young cows and heifers, £3 17/6 to £4 11/; fresh empty cows, £2 5/ to £3; 18----month steers, £2 15/; mixed yearlings, £1 11/ to £1 18/; strong calves, to £1 6/; forward three and a-half year old steers, £5 15/; ewes In lamb, 13/.

Klngswell and Co. report:— On Tuesday we again cleared an extra lnrge catalogue of hides, skins, tallow, etc. The market is firm for all well flayed and conditioned ox; cow again lower. Hides; Extra stout 7d to 7}d, stout 6Jd to 7d, medium to 6r light 3d to old; cow, best 4J. good 3|d to 4rt; seconds, 23d to 3Jd; inferior. Id to 2d. kip, well flnye to 4d,scored 2d to 3d per lb: calf, first quality. 4d to sd, badly sbnned 31d to 33; scored. 2d to 2Jd per lb. Sheepskins: Butchers' large IAO to 2/; good lines. 1/8: small, 1/3 to 1/4. Lambs at same yrk-p.
