THAMES.
There was a large and representative gathering at the funeral of the late Mr T. A. Dunlop. Representatives of all the locai bodies with which the deceased gentleman had been associated, were present, also several friends from Auckland. Messages of regret and sympathy were forwarded from near and far.
In connection with the case in which Charles Anderson, late conductor of the Hauraki Band, sued the band for £60 as damages for alleged breach of contract, a settlement has been arrived at. The amount to ne paid by the band 'is £30 and all legal expenses incurred.
