THE PAHIATUA SEAT.

WELLINGTON, this day.

At Woodville, a meeting of delegates declared in favour of Mr. J. C. Cooper to contest the Pahiatua seat in the Opposition interest at the general election. The only other name submitted was that of S. Bolton. Mr. G. Hunter was present, but would not allow himself to bo nominated.
