; Effect on Colonial Trade. (Keceived 3.30 a.m.) LONDON, April 2. 'At a meeting of the United Wards' Club, Mr. Arthur Poley, barrister-at-law, read a paper on the Port of London Bill, as,affecting colonial trade. He strongly raged one or more representatives of the Bell-governing colonies to have seats on lie new port authority. Mr. Taverner declared that the colonies feired a quicker marketing of their products. He hoped their 'goods would be 'landed nearer the heart of London.
