EPSOM DOCKET CLUB
The Epsom Hockey Club held their first annual meeting on Wednesday evening, and it was attended by members an intending members of the club. The secretary's report was well received. It siated that although the club was only formed nt the commencement of the past season (two members only having played the game previously), the second junior championship and caps had been won, and that with the loss of only one came, the total scores amounting to "about 54 goals to seven. Routine bnsiness was cone through, and a vote of tn.inks was ten. dered to retiring secretary (who is about to leave the Dominion for the Old Country) for the able manner he served in the club's Interest during the season. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows-—Pre-sident, Rev. T. A. Williams', vice-presidents, Messrs W. E. Hutchison. W. E. Bush H Dearsly, John Bollard, M.P., and w' A Harvey; secretary. Mr T. 11. Becroft;'and treasurer, Mr..G. Roberts. It was decided to start practise on 4th April, so that new members might have time to pick up tile game before the commencement of the Association fixtures, and all intending members are requested to be present.
