Mr. Percy Butler niet with an accident at Morrinsville on Monday last. It appears that a portion of the machinery of a chaffcutter became detached and fell upon his hand, forcing it into the moving machinery, with the result that the hand was badly crushed, two fingers being completely torn away. The injured man was conveyed to the Hamilton Hospital for' treatment.
