250,000 LOCKED OUT. PEJTDUfG AGKEEMENT AS TO wages: LONDON, April 1. Renter's New York correspondent states that colliery owners in various parts of the United States intend to close down pending an agreement as to the scale of wages to be paid. This decision, it is added, will throw a quarter of a million workers idle.
