CRICKET.
PROPOSED ALTERATION OF DISTRICT BOUNDARIES. A meeting of the managing committee of the Cricket Association" was held last evening, when the question of revising and altering the boundaries in accordance with the motion that was passed at the last annual meeting, was discussed, and the following resolutions were passed, subject to confirmation at a special general meeting, to be held on Tuesday, April 14th, at 7.30 p.m.:— (1.) "That the City boundaries be altered as follow:—From east side of Beaumontroad, along east side of Franklin-road, east side of Willow-street, Napier-street, Hepburn-street. Ponsonby-road. Newtonroad, Symonds-street, Grafton Bridge. Park-road, eastern boundary of Hospital, western boundary of Domain, Stan-ley-street, a.nd along foreshore to starting point. ■> (2.) "That the Ponsonby boundaries be altered as follow:—From western side of Beaumont-road, along foreshore to Cox's Bridge, along C'es'3 Bridge-road, Wolsely-avenue, to Surrevcresceut, along Great North-road to Pon-sonby-road, along Ponsonby-road to Hepburn-street, thence down western City boundary to foreshore." These resolutions mean that the boundaries of City will be permanently altered to include the district temporarily allotted them at the beginning of the present season, arid that eastern boundary shall be the Great instead of Williamson'savenue. The Eden district is thus curtailed, and tie other areas remain unaltered.
