GOLD EXPORT.
{By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. During the first quarter of the present year New Zealand exported 134,100 ounces of gold valued at £523,069, or 15,981 ozs, of the value of £54.597, more than during the corresponding quarter of last year; The quantity of gold exported last month was 41-555 ozs. valued at £16G_76, as compared with 50.573 ozs, valued at £203.673, in March, 1907. The export of silver for March, 19OS, was S9jO3S ozs, as against 101.550 ozs in March, 1907.
