THE NATIVE MINISTER.

The Hon. J. Carroll (Native Minister) returned by the express to the Waikato this morning to attend the the meetings of Maoris at Waharoa and Ngaruawahia. He was accompanied by Mr. A. Ngata, MJR. (Minister of Native Land Commission), alsO by Mr. Te Heuheu Tukino, and the JVUnister's private secretary, Mr. W. Gordon. Mr. Carroll expects to return to Auckland next Thursday.
