BEWARE OF THE MILK
DISGUSTING PRACTICES. (By -eregraph,—Press A_-OC__iion.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. In the Magistrate's Court this morning. Thomas Coulter was convicted of carrying hightsoil in a spring dray used to carrying niEk to customers. Mr. Bishop, S.M., characterised the offence as disgusting, and fined Coulter £10 and costs. The same man was fined i_s for having fed swine with uncooked offal, and £1 for having left offal within half a mile of the highway.
