Siib.ects for lazaheth Conference. LONDON. March 30. The programme of the Lambeth Conference shows that the Archbishop of Melbourne (Dr. Clarke) has been invited to speak on the subject of "Reunion and Intercommunion," the Archbishop of Brisbane (Dr. Donaldson) on "Organisation within the Anglican Communion," Bishop Stretch (of Newcastle) on "The Relation of the Church to Social Economic Questions," the Bishop of Perth (Dr. Bilqy) on "Religious Education in Schools," Bishop Wallis (of Wellington) on "Ministries of Healing,'" and the Archbishop of Sydney (Dr. SaUmarez Smith) on "Sunday Observance."
The Archbishop of Brisbane (pr. Donaldson), speaking at Weybridge, declared that the Church needed power to govern herself. When the laity possessed the power they ought to have, and a definite legislative bpdy existed whose decision bishops and churchwardens would respect, there would be efficiency in administration.
