DROWNING AT HAMILTON.

(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) ' HAMILTON, this day. A young man named Frank Ferris, while walking over the railway bridge with another man named Davis, on Saturday night, tripped over a plank, and fell into the water on the up-stream side of the bridge. He did not utter a sound, and beyond* a splash nothing "was heard. The body has not yet been recovered. The bridge' wSTs not supposed to be used by the public, but deceased was crossing it in order to take a short cut home.
