MEXICAN EARTHQUAKE
FOLLOWED BY FIRE. DESTROYS A TOWN. PANIC-STRICKEN POPULACE. MEXICO, March ?S. As the result of an earthquake, followed by fire, the town of Chilipa, in Mexico, has been practically destroyed. Telegraphic communication has been interrupted, and the extent of the catastrophe is unknown. The cablegram giving these brief particulars mentions also that there was a great panic, and that there were three severe shocks. Shocks were also experienced in Mexico City, and in the West Indies.
