FASHIONS, i i ' ! )V STRAW HAT. A becoming hat of soft straw trimmed | with pink roses and tulle swatlied rouud the crown with flowing ends. An elaborate but none the less useful gown is this, carried out in tussore, striped as to the skirt, and plain as to the coat. The striped tussore enters j into the design of the coat —small straps' being inlet —and the coat is worn over a j waistcoat also of the striped material.! I A USEFUL GOWN. i This costume would be most effective in green and white, or mauve and white, 5 the flowers in the small hat shading to ' correspond. j ____— j Ever since its introduction into the - world of fashion, the life of the blouse ■ has been threatened at intervals, but judging from the signs of the time, it is b in as healthy and nourishing a condition -as ever it was.
