The barque Josenh Craig was docked today. The s.s. Waitangi was to-day placed on the slip at Onehunga for cleaning and painting. The barquentinp. Southern Cross, which was reported in the Gulf on Friday, came into port on Saturday, and anchored in the stream. The barque Louisa Craig arrived from Melbourne on Saturday afternoon after an uneventful weather passage of 13 days. The Government s.s. Hlnemoa arrived from the Kermadecs and the Little Barrier yesterday afternoon. She sails again for Bean Rock and Ponui lighthouses early on Wednesday morning next, afterwards proceeding to the North. The s.e. Opawa will arrive at Auckland from Waitara about January 14 or 15 to load cargo for London. She completes in the South, and will receive final dispatch for London about the last week of the present month. The Maoriland Shipping Company's steamer Ennerdale, now at Kaipara loading timber for Sydney, loads hardwood at Sydney for Auckland and Wellington. The Tyser steamer Star of Australia, en route from London, left Sydney for Auckland on Saturday last. The steamer, which will b» due at Auckland on Thursday next, has 2000 tons of cargo to land at this port bpfore proceeding to the South. The s.s. Mokoia arrived from Sydney at 7.15 p.m. The steamer left Sydnpy at 12.30 p.m. on Wednesday last, ancl experienced fresh south-east winds throughout.
