Afternoon tea was dispensed by Mrs. and Miss Johnston. RICHMOND GREEN. The Richmond bowling green was in full swing on New Year's Day, the occasion being taken by the Acting-President (Mr M. J. Bennett) to entertain some forty odd bowlers and ladies to luncheon. Several felicitous speeches were made, and prospsrity wished the club in the timehonoured manner. The following games were played during the day:— Three were left in for the fourth round for the Kohn medal, Messrs W. 11. Murray, J. Donald, and Bagnall. The draw resulted in Donald and Baguall having to play, Murray getting the bye. Donald (21) beat Bagnall (14), and in the anal Murray beat Donald by a small margin. For the Rogers bowls, Donald (22) beat Short (ID), and Jones (27> beat Streeter (S3), which concluded the first round.
