The state of the steps on either side of the cemetery gully and of the small footbridge across the bottom was brought before the City Council by Mr. P. M. Mackay List ni<-ht. Mr. Mackay stated that the steps* were very slippery in the wet weather, and the bridge was an inch or two under water. The engineer was instructed to attend to the Tnaftter. * * ~-.
